With the end of the school year fast approaching, I wanted to get my teacher gifts prepared and ready to go. It always seems that the last weeks of school are so rushed and crazy, so I'm going to be glad to have this done.
I found some cute little Band-Aid boxes at the craft store, and I dressed them up a bit with scrapbooking paper and embellishments. And ribbon, of course. Lots of ribbon.
Inside I tucked a gift card for each teacher, a note from their respective monsters, and then I let the girls pick out a Band-Aid for a finishing touch. They're way excited to give them to their teachers, and I'm just glad I'm ahead of the game this year. Whoo ha!
What a great teacher's gift! These are adorable. I saw something similar awhile back called a Joy Box. It was also made from a bandaid box and stuffed with various scriptures and quotes. I've been looking for bandaid boxes ever since. Havent found them so far, but now I'm EXTRA motivated to find them. = ) Thanks for a great idea!
ReplyDeleteyou're so talented and I envy it!
ReplyDeleteI was finally on the ball and made a gift for dds teacher.. a male.. I went to www.wordle.net and made a word cloud. I had each student in her class make a list of 5-10 things about their teacher or 5th grade.. and then entered on wordle, printed, enlarged, matted,framed...and given! He loves it!
ReplyDeleteCould you whip me up a couple of those too, Jill??? (In your abundant amount of free time, of course...)
ReplyDeleteSo talented, my friend....I know they will love it. Hey, I just saw your button...I'm gonna grab it and post it on my blog!
