Visit to Santa Man and Psycho Blog Stalker
Last week we took the girls to the mall to sit on the Fat Man's lap. They had been begging and begging to go and give him their list of demands.
Annika didn't say a word. She just sat there with her nervous tongue darting in and out of her mouth and around her lips, looking very snake like. She wouldn't have been able to get a word in edgewise anyway.
As soon as Zoe got up on his lap, she started prattling on and on.
"We had a fish but he died. Actually Annie won me the fish because I couldn't win a fish so she won me a fish. Then her fish hogged all the food and my fish starved to death and then I woke up one day and he was floating. Her fish was a hog. But he learned his lesson because he died too. And I want a Dinosaur Diggit package and a cougar attacking a horse . . ." Blah, blah, blah.
Meanwhile, I was snapping pictures.
During all this, Peanut Head was standing off to the side watching, when a stranger came up to him and asked him "Where's Jill?" He pointed to me, and then she told him that she recognized the girls from my blog.
[Insert psycho music here.]
Peanut Head was a little creeped out until she said, "I'm Lorraine. Janae's sister."
Whew! That was scary for a second there. Turns out I never saw Lorraine because she didn't say hi to me. What's up with that, Girlfriend?!
By the way, I once did have someone come up to me and tell me that she had been reading and enjoying my blog, and that she felt a little weird like she was spying on me. It wasn't creepy though, it was kind of nice.
Oh my gosh you are cracking me up again with Annika's tounge darting in and out looking snake like....ROFLOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy someone recognized you from the blog...but really cool. I can't believe she didn't end up saying hi.
Whew... For a moment there, talk of the blog stalker had me worried.
ReplyDeleteDadgum, I thought my cover was blown! Phew!
ReplyDeleteToo funny with the girls and the fat man. I have yet to get my kiddo to Santa. BAD Mommy. I just hate the mall. No, I loathe the mall. Sigh. I may have to take an extra happy pill prior to leaving. Either that or sip on some eggnog...
That is unsettling! But the picture is awesome;-)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I got shivers as I was reading....then they went away when we figured out who Lorraine is, whew!
ReplyDeleteWeird! but nice that people are reading your blog, i guess. lovely pics of the girls!
