As promised, here are the Star Cookies.
The Star Cookie recipe originally came from the Barefoot Contessa, then Peanut Head went and changed it up with a sugar cookie of his own creation.
He's always changing things like that. It makes me crazy sometimes.
But in this case, it's all good.
My favorite part about these cookies is that they have just the right balance of chewy and crispy mingling together in the sweetest dance that a cookie could have with your mouth.
And then you go and plop a chocolate star right in the middle and . . . nirvana. What else can I say?
Here's that recipe card. Enjoy!
YUMMY those look so pretty and good!
ReplyDeleteAnother great recipe:-) You rock!
ReplyDeleteGosh, you guys have a lot of great recipes. And Peanut Head does a lot of baking???? Whoa, what a guy! I'm really thankful I do not live next door, because I know I would be trying every stinking recipe and gaining even more weight!! ;) merry christmas, neighbor! ;)

These look too yummy. I have a similar recipe but I use maraschino cherries instead. There super tasty. But I'm sure you know that since you probably have that recipe too!
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty!! I just want you to know that I blame you for all of my holiday weight gain...I'm just saying...
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! Almost too pretty to eat!
ReplyDeleteWe bought the ladybug habitat kit at our local Learning Express toy store. I have seen them in various catalogs too. Around $20.
